New this season, our dark blue Vintage Indigo was inspired by foggy beaches, dusk, starry nights, mountain ridges in the distance and dark lake water. This timeless inky blue is little moody, a little nostalgic and effortlessly wearable.
"Denim had a tough time through COVID, but it's now coming back to life," said Merrill Worlund who leads our design & product development team. "The color indigo also went through this swing and is gaining momentum again."
After deciding to add a blue to our spring/summer collection, Merrill turned to nature and the outdoor scenes we love most. She came up with Vintage Indigo as an ode to that beautiful color that fog, rain, snow, and the early morning/late evening hours often create.
