Our business impacts the planet. That matters to us.

Since we started this Merino apparel company in 2014, we've been committed to finding ways to minimize and offset our impact.

We care about our planet and keeping it in good shape for future generations, so we became members of 1% For The Planet before we made a single sale.

Every year for more than a decade, we've been giving back to environmental nonprofits. In good times and in bad, we take our commitment to giving back seriously.

The 1% for the Planet Network

The 1% movement started on a fishing trip when two longtime friends—Yvon Chouinard and Craig Mathews—shared their concerns about the environmental impact from their businesses.

As successful businessmen with growing companies, they knew they needed to do more. They came up with the idea to pay an "earth tax": not a literal tax but a business commitment to donate at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental causes. Since 2002, the 1% for the Planet network has grown to 4,800+ member companies around the world.
