This, along with the relaxed cut and the functional design, earned the Ridge Merino boxer brief a place on Outside Magazine's very short list of the best performance underwear for men. Specifically, Ridge was named best for Multi-Day Off-the-Grid Trips, with the reviewer noting "...they’re great for backpacking or backcountry ski trips."
